We only ask two things. Firstly that your subject matter covers a national or world issue, be it; culture, politics, development, gender, international relations and the like. Secondly, that your blog piece is based in academic research, statistical research and/or connections with people who have first hand experiences of the subject matter, as regurgitated mass opinion of no substance is neither particularly welcomed nor useful to this cause.
